shock also called hypoperfusion can be defined as "a clinical set of signs and symptoms associated with an inadequate supply of blood to body organs, especially the brain and heart"
hemorrhage excessive loss of blood
diaphoresis or excessive perpiration, may result in a wet clammy feeling whe the skin is touched
