|Brainstem|| Location: Stemlike, diencephalon above to spinal cord below. Contains Midbrain and Medulla Oblangata|
Function: helps maintain heart rate , blood pressure. Assists the senses. Relays information from brainstem to the spinal cord.
|Midbrain|| Location: Upperend of Brainstem, contains Pons and Cerebellum. |
Function: Involved with visual reflexes, movement of eyes, focusing of lens and dialation of pupils
|Medulla Oblangata|| Location: Lowest on Brainstem connects pons and spinal cord. |
Function: heart beating/ breathing. Directs Motor, upper sensory
|Pons|| Location:Short bridgelike fibers that connect midbrain ,Medulla ,cerebral hemispheres cerebellum and cerebrum. Lies anterior ro cerebellum and between midbrain and medulla.|
