Assonance | The repetition of vowel sounds followed by different consonants sounds at the end of accented syllables |
Consonance | The repetition of similar consonant sounds at the end of accented syllables |
Rhythm | A pattern of beats or stresses in spoken or written language |
Onomatopoeia | The use of words that imitate sounds |
Alliteration | The repetition of initial (beginning) consonant sounds |
