Why were the findings during the Scientific Revolution considered to be so radical? Based off of experimentation and math, not the knowledge from outside sources. Also did not match with the teachings of the Bible.
What was the Scientific Method? A step by step process of discovery
What is heliocentric? Geocentric? universe with the sun in center; universe with earth in center

Who was Johannes Kepler? Found evidence that planets orbit in an ellipse, Brahe's assistant
What were Galileo's achievements? Perfected the first telescope, saw that Jupiter's moons revolved around Jupiter like planets revolved around the sun
Who forced Galileo to recant? How did he fight back? Inquisition; he argued for a non-literal interpretation of the Bible
What were Francis Bacon's beliefs? Science should be put to use to make life better for people/develop practical technologies, experiment and observation. Considered as father of Scientific Method
