Modem A device that allows one computer to talk to another.
Universal Serial Bus (USB) port can connect up to 127 different peripherals wiht a single connector and supports data transfer rates of up to 200 million bits per second.
Plug-and-play The ability of a computer system to configure expansion boards and other devices automatically.
FireWire cable, also known as IEEE-1394, that carries digital video signals, which include audio, video, and control (stop, start, etc.) signals
Expansion slot Openings on the motherboard where an expansion board can be inserted.
Output Data that has been processed into a useful format.
