State the purpose of the process radiation monitoring system. To monitor radiation levels in the various process and effluent gas and liquid streams, and the primary containment drywell.
Identify the systems monitored by the PRM system.1. Main steam line RMS
2. Reactor Building ventilation exhaust plenum RMS
3. Control room fresh air intake RMS
4. Standby service water
5. Air removal
6. Off-gas
7. Reactor building elevated release
8. Turbine building elevated release
9. Radwaste building elevated release
10. RCC
11. Radwaste effluent
12. CW & TSW
13. Primary containment leak detection LOCA
State the automatic actions associated with the Offgas Post-Treatmet RMS upon sensing high radiation levels. High trip results in OG-V-45 closes (treat), OG-V-51A,B,C,D open.
HHH or HHH and downscale or both downscale results in OG-V-60, OG-V-23, 34A/B, & 54 to close.
State the automatic actions associated with the CW blowdown RMS. Monitors the radioactivity of the CW blowdown line to the river and initiate an isolation of this line upon detection of a high radioactivity level.
State the automatic actions associated with the Radwaste effluent RMS. Monitor radioactivitiy of the radwaste effluent to the CW blowdown line and initiate an isolation of this line upon detection of a high radioactivity level.
State the automatic actions associated with the RCC water RMS. RCC-V-101 will auto close on RCC high rad.
State the automatic actions associated with the mechanical vacuum pump discharge RMS. 3 mR/hr causes both mechanical vacuum pumps to trip. Suction and discharge valves auto close on pump trip.
State the automatic actions associated with the main steam line RMS. Hi-Hi trip or INOP (2.864 x normal)
A OR C - Trips AR-P-1A & AR-EX-1A
B OR D - Trips AR-P-1B & AR-EX-1B
A AND B - RRC-V-20 closes
C AND D - RRC-V-19 closes
State the automatic actions associated with the reactor building exhaust plenum RMS. A AND B, or C AND D causes alarm on P602 and a "Z" signal trip.
State the automatic actions associated with control room HVAC RMS. High-High alarm automatically:
1. Closes associated division fresh air inlet damper WMA-AD-51A(B)-1.
2. Stops toilet/kitchen exhaust fan WEA-FN-51.
3. Closes outlet damper WEA-AD-51.
State the automatic features associated with the sample line isolation valves for the containment leak detection noble gas and particulate radiation monitors in sample rack CMS-SR-20 & 21. Isolate on an F or A signal.
List the power supplies for the Reactor Building Exhaust Plenum RMS. A and B - IN-3
C and D - IN-2
List the power supplies for the main steam line RMS. A and C - RPS-A
B and D - RPS-B
