scientist who observes and predicts the weather

the force air exerts on the earths surface and anything on it

air mass

a large body of air with the same tempature and humidity

front

the boundary where two diffrent air masses meet

stationary front

a front that occurs when cold and warm air masses meet but neither is moving

occluded weather

a warm front thats overtaken by a cold front

doppler radar

tracking system that sends out pulses of radio waves to provide detailed pictures of weather

fahrenheit

tempature scale on which 32 degrees is freezing and 212 degrees is boiling

celsius

tempature scale on which 0 degrees is freezing and 100 degrees is boiling
