Crop | To remove unwanted parts of a picture by dragging cropping handles on the sides and corners of the picture. |

Drop cap | A large initial capital letter or a large first word used to add interest to text, such as at the beginning of a document. |
First-line indent | Indenting only the first line of a paragraph. |
Floating object | A picture that can be positioned so that text can wrap around and flow in front of or behind it. |
Font | The design of a set of letters and numbers. |
Footer | Text or graphics that prints in the bottom margin of each page in a document. |
Hanging indent | Indenting all the lines from the left except the first one. |
Header | Text or graphics that prints in the top margin of each page in a document. |
I-beam | The shape of the mouse pointer when you slide it over text. |

Page break | A command that ends a page and starts a new one. |
