lecture	teaching by giving a discourse on some subject (typically to a class)
discrimination	unfair treatment based on prejudice against a certain group
overseas	beyond or across the sea

gender	the sex of one class of such a set
underlying	being or involving basic facts or principles
brief	a condensed written summary or abstract

neutral	one who does not side with any party in a war or dispute
migration	a group of people migrating together (especially in some given time period)
flexibility	capable of being bent, usually without breaking; easily bent
federal	being of or having to do with the northern United States and those loyal to the Union during the Civil War
author	writes (books or stories or articles or the like) professionally (for pay)
initiatives	a procedure by which a specified number of voters may propose a statute
allocation	the share or portion
exceed	be or do something to a greater degree
