| historgram | graphical representation of a frequency distribution using vertical bars but bars touch each other to indicate variables are related |
| when histogram is bimodal | describe the symmetry of each cluster separately. |
| categorical variables | Variables that represent or stand for a specific group rather then a specific number. Each category is a natural "pile". |
