### factoring by grouping

the use of the distributive property to facetor some polynomials having four or more terms

### factoring

to express a polynomial as the product of monimals and polynomials

a whole number greater than 1, that has more than two factors.

### zero product property

if the product of two factors is 0. then at least one of the factors must be 0

a polynomials that cannot be written as a product of two polynomials with intergal coefficeinets

a whole number greater than 1 whose only factors are 1 and itself

trinomials that are the square of a binomial
