Tranlucent | light goes through the mineral but you can't see through it |
Metallic | Very shiny. Looks like metal. |
Vitreous | Looks like glass |
How do you test a mineral's hardness? | By scratching a mineral. A mineral can only be scratched by a mineral that's harder than it |
