| Petitio Principii | involves circular reasoning, whereby the speaker assumen what she or he is trying to prove, the conclusion is drawn on the basis of evidence containing a restatement of the conclusion. |
| Post Hoc | "a causes b" on the basis of "a" happening before "b", the fact that events occurs before another does not mean that they are causally related. |
| Slippery Slope | an argument against something on the basis that, if it is allowed, will lead to something worse, which leads to something even worse and so on... down a slippery slope, connestion is incorrectly assumed. |
