Andrew founded Quizlet while a sophomore at Albany High School in California and is actively involved in leading the Quizlet team, developing our product and technology vision, and making sure the Quizlet user experience is great. He's currently on leave from MIT.
Dave runs the business side of Quizlet, as well as our parent company, Old School Industries LLC. Previously Dave held management and marketing positions at Boston.com, Netscape, Evite and Enterprise Insight, an IT market research firm. He has degrees from Stanford Business School, Brown University, and Swampscott High.
Joanna helps manage marketing outreach and kickstarted Quizlet's Translation Project. A recent graduate of the University of Arizona, Joanna is interested in Spanish Language and Culture. She has lived abroad in Barcelona and attended Hinsdale Central High School in Illinois.
Will handles the day-to-day operations at Quizlet. A former teacher and editor at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, he has degrees from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and The College of William and Mary.
Anand leads design at Quizlet. He previously lived in Los Angeles, where he ran an interactive design agency and attended UCLA. Past projects include theory11 (a site teaching magic tricks), Charm (a website analytics startup), and Bicycle Playing Cards.
Sophia handles the marketing and support side of Quizlet, helping turn user feedback into new features. Teaching Latin and Greek to college students taught her a lot about what works and what doesn’t. She has degrees from the University of Chicago, Columbia University, and attended St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn, NY.
Jeff writes code for Quizlet. This past summer he built the initial version of Quizlet Multiplayer. He is currently a sophomore at MIT studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
