April Fools!

It’s all a cruel joke!

Quizlet is free and will remain free indefinitely. Sorry to those who took me seriously :)

On a serious note, Quizlet’s only recurrent expense is the web hosting account that Quizlet.com runs on. I can keep supporting it on my own for a long long time. Thanks for your concern.

But I am talking with a few people about advertising deals, so we’ll see about that.

    I think your quizlet is wonderful. I overheard some of my students talking about how they like it and they plan to really use quizlet to study for their science classes, etc.

    I am sure you will end up with a fabulous scholarship because of your quizlet work, if you don’t already have one. Where will you go to college?

    Whew! Well, I was pretty suspicious that you posted the thing on April 1st (what a coincidence!), but personally, I was prepared to go and ask for some money, seriously. Scratch that. Actually, I think my mom would never let me pay a subscription fee, but Quizlet is one of my favorite study tools; I definitely didn’t want to lose it. Same here, I still support the donation box idea.

    You really should set up a donation box, too. I’d be willing to donate a few dollars to the cause, and other people probably feel the same way. This would get you even more money to help support the website.
