Quizlet just got sorted

Happy Tuesday! This week we launched a couple of sorting features that many of you have been asking for.

First off, you can now reorder your terms when you create or edit a set. Did you miss a term in an ordered list? Just add the word, then click on the new reordering button to drag the term to the right spot in your list.

For example, we realized that we forgot to add “abfliegen” and “der Abflug” to the beginning of this alphabetized set of German Travel Words – but now, all we have to do is click to drag those terms up to the top of the list of terms where they belong:

Now they’re in the right place at the top of the list:

Don’t forget to click “Save” once you’re finished reordering your terms!

Next, we’ve also added a sorting feature for your dashboard and groups pages. Click on any header to sort by that field. Here’s a set list sorted by Title:

And here’s the same set list, sorted by number of terms per set:

You can also sort by any other table header (including Date Created, Subject, Discussion Messages, and more). Now you have more control over how you organize your dashboard and groups on Quizlet!

    Thank you. I am so pleased that this has now been implemented. It will help me not only find missing words but also duplicates especially where I have more than 1000 entries.

    When we use the learn mode can we do it in order, if necessary??

    OMG! I’ve sent a feedback about something like this. I don’t even know when I sent it cuz how am I supposed to know that, but I forget a few words everytime I make a set. This is so cool!!!

    Thank you for adding the additional functionality. Would it be possible to sort (ascending/descending) on the terms column within the card set itself? I have an extensive glossary list that I am trying to maintain and when I need to add multiple terms, it is very difficult to do these one at a time.

    can you put in folders for sets. I know you can tag things and now even sort them by tags, but I’d really like just a folder for english, a folder for science, etc. Thanks! Otherwise, keep it up Quizzersss!!

    I know you guys probably don’t want to launch a full fledged mobile site yet…but can there be some sort of reworking of the dashboard that avoids a scroll bar (which mobile browsers don’t display)? A “list all of your sets” on one page function would be fine.
