FAQ: How do I add images to my flash cards?

You can add images to your flash cards, either in place of a definition, or in addition to the definition, as a visual hint (see example: US Presidents).

Currently Quizlet only supports adding images from Flickr, although we plan to add an image upload feature in the future.

You can add Flickr images to your set simply by typing in a term and clicking “add image.” Quizlet will automatically pull in related images from Flickr, which you can scroll through until you find one you want to use. (We only show Flickr images available through the Creative Commons license).

Once you’ve found the image you like best, select “use this image,” and it will be added to the term’s definition. If you don’t like the images that your term pulls in, you can try searching Flickr using other keywords. Type them into the search box at the top of the image preview box and click “find images” – this will not change the term that appears on your flashcards.
