FAQ: What is "Login with Facebook?"
Login with Facebook allows external websites like Quizlet to use Facebook's login system. Instead of creating a Quizlet account by entering your email and password, everything is done automatically with one click.

How can I link my Facebook account?
If you have registered for Quizlet with an email and password but have not linked your Facebook account, go to the Preferences page and click "Link with Facebook."
How can I unlink my Facebook account?
You can unlink your Facebook account at any time. Go to your Preferences page. Make sure you have added an email address and password so you can still login after your unlink Facebook. Then click "Unlink Facebook Account."
Troubleshooting
If you see a message that says “Unable to load Facebook” with a link to this page your computer didn’t successfully load the Facebook login system. The likely reason for this was just a bad internet connection at the time.
Please clear your browser’s cache, refresh the Quizlet home page, and try again. If the problem persists after doing this, either Facebook’s servers are having problems or your network is blocking access to Facebook. Contact your network administrator about this issue.
Why does Quizlet ask me for these?
Here's a quick rundown of the various Facebook permissions Quizlet requests, why we ask for them and what we use them for.
Quizlet will not post anything to your Facebook without your explicit consent!
Access my basic information – This is the default permission that all apps on Facebook require. It provides us basic information like your name and profile photo. You should know that Quizlet does not access or request your other personal information, such as status updates, wall posts, interests, check-ins and current location.
Send me email – We need to be able to communicate important information to you regarding activity in your Quizlet network. We do not sell email addresses. We won't spam you, and you can unsubscribe from our newsletter by going to Preferences as soon as you login.
Access my profile information – We use your education history and birthday to help provide relevant content within Quizlet. We store this data securely and don't display your birthday to anyone.
Access my data anytime – This gives us the ability to show your Facebook friends and their Quizlet flashcard sets even if you don't have an active login session with Facebook. For example, this lets us show your Facebook friends on Quizlet even if you're on a school network where Facebook is blocked.
