Why copy a set?
With over 12 million sets on Quizlet, it's very likely that you can find what you're trying to study without creating it on your own.
However, often the set you find may only match 90% of what you need to learn.
By creating a copy, you can tweak the definitions or add or delete terms.
Making it simple
You've always been able to copy another Quizlet user's set. But it's been buried under our "export" option.
And so users often write in asking for an option to copy a set and edit it.
Now, we've made it simple and easy to do that.
How to Copy a Set
Just click "Copy" on any set page and we'll recreate the whole set for you to edit and save.
On the set page, it will show whose account you copied the set from.
For more detailed instructions, see our Copy FAQ.
