- Bartolomé de Las Casas: Was a man who belived in Native Americans being treated fairly. Spoke out against the ecomieada system. Got Indians to be replaced by Africans.
- Christopher Columbus: In 1942 he sailed to find a shortcut to asia but found the Americas instead.
- Ferdianand Magellan: Tried to sail to Asia by way of the South Sea for trading, but found the Pasific Ocean. He never got all the way there.
- Francisco Pizzaro: Atempted and sucsedded in conqureing the Inca Empire.
- Hernándo Cortés: Atempted and sucsedded in conquering the Aztec Empire.
- Sir Walter Raleigh: Created a settlement twice on Roanoke Island. The second time the ruler of the settlement left for more supplies and came back to a empty town with "CROATOAN" carved in the walls.
