Lyric
A poem that expresses feelings or emotions and does not tell stories
Refrain

Ode
A long lyric poem in praise of someone or something
Ballad
A song or poem that tells a story about tragedy, love, or alternative
Free Verse
Poetry without a regular meter or rhyme scheme
Narrative
A poem that tells a story
Epic
A long narrative poem that tells a story about a hero
