What is the importance of the Nile River? There is a cataract which is a waterfall which results to a river at the bottom and that is the Nile then there is a delta which is at the river's mouth and it deposits fine fertile soil for growin crops called silt. The silt was important to the Egyptians because they could grow crops and make an object for trading and they would trade for what is needed. page 147.

What are the two rivers surrounding Mesopotamia? The Euphrates and Tigris rivers.
What did Alexander the Great do? Conquered Egypt. Son of Philip. Took over throne after his father Philip was assasinated.
