Monotheism believing in one god

Apocalyptic Thought the idea that there will be an end of time on earth and a judgment day. Where all people on earth will be judged even the dead
Messiah The anticipated savior for Jewish people.
Sadducees A member of a priestly, aristocratic Jewish sect founded in the second century B.C. that accepted only the written Mosaic law
Pharisees A member of an ancient Jewish sect that emphasized strict interpretation and observance of the Mosaic law in both its oral and written form.
Essences A member of an ascetic Jewish sect that existed in ancient Palestine from the second century B.C. to the second century A.D. These people amerced their selves in Judaism and the teachings of the Torah. (Like monks)
