he thinks they are both right and he wanted to find a balence. He thinks that the best balence is not allowing westware expansion and eventually slavery will die out... he thinks that when the declaration was written it did not include blacks because they werent really consitered human but in this time we should include them because they are human and its all about interpretaion |
