Kent State and Jackson State shootings |
At Kent State, students were protesting after the crisis in Cambodia. They burned a military building on campus, so the National Gaurd troops came and told them to leave. They didn't, and killed a few students. A similar thing happened at Jackson State. |

Cambodia crisis |
Cambodia started a civil war, and Nixon ordered troops to raid Cambodia. We didn't want another war about Communism. Started riots. |

Communist leader of China in the 40's. Fought against Chiang Kai-Shek, and all of china became the People's Republic of China. |

Watergate |
Nixon's reelection commitee wanted information about the Democrat's campaign plans. They broke into this apartement/business complex and tapped the phones/spied. They were arrested and the Washington Post linked the burglary to Nixon's campaign. |
