ㄱ Pronounced as "k" as in "kitchen". When preceded by vowels pronounced as "g" as in "guess". When preceded by "m", "n" or "l"is pronounced as "ng".
ㄷ Pronounced as "t" as in "toad". When preceded by vowels is pronounced as "d". When preceded by "m", "n" or "l" is pronounced as "n".
ㅂ Pronounced as "p" as in "potty". When preceded by vowels is pronounced as "b".When preceded by "m", "n" or "l" is pronounced as "m".
ㅈ Prounced as "ch" as in "chamber". When preceded by vowels is pronounced as "j".
ㅁ Pronounced as "m" as in "mother".
ㄴ Pronounced as "n" as in "nanny".
ㅇ Has no sound when it precedes a vowel. When in last position is pronounced as "ng" as in "bring".
