why is it particularly harmful for young people to drink? |
the brain, nervous system, reproductive system, muscle mass, are still developing. Therefore, the grwoing body is more vulnerable to the damaging effects of alcohol. Young people tend to drink to excess and are more likely to engage in risky behavior. Binge drinking is more common among young people and taht can lead to unconciousness and death. It is important to remember that alcohol is the leading contributor to death among youth under 21 |
