Acoustic Pertaining to hearing.
Acoustic neuroma Benign tumor arising from the 8th cranial nerve in the brain.
Audiogram A record of ones sense of hearing.
Audiometer The instrument used to record a patients sense of hearing.
Audiometry The process of recording a patients sense of hearing.
Auditory canal A tube that leads from the pinna of the ear to the tympanic membrane (eardrum). AKA: Auditory meatus.
Auditory meatus A tube that leads from the pinna of the ear to the tympanic membrane (eardrum). AKA: Auditory canal.
Auditory nerve fibers Carries the nerve impulses from the inner ear to the cerebral cortex.

Otomycosis Fungal infection of the ear.
Otopyorrhea Discharge of pus from the ear.

Perilymph Fluid contained within the canals of the inner ear.
