The Right to a Fair Trial (A citizen accused of a crime has the right to a jury trial that is both public and takes place as quickly as circumstances allow)
What is the seventh amendment?
Civil Rights (Citizens have the right to a jury trial to settle lawsuits over money or property worth more than $20)
What is the eighth amendment?
Bail and Punishment (Bail and fines set by the court must be reasonable; punishment for crimes cannot be "cruel and usual")
What is the ninth amendment?
Rights Retained by the People (Americans have fundamental rights beyond the rights listed in the Constitution)
What is the tenth amendment?
States Rights (Attempts to balance power between the federal governments and the states)
