English colonies were made up of villages where the Indians were pushed from their land. New France was made up of fur traders who lived and worked with the Indians.

Describe the differences between New England and New France.

English Virginians wanted to take the Ohio River valley. Virginians (George Washington) tried to claim Ohio. The French fought back. The French and the Indians lose. The French lose colonies in North America The Indians lose title to the lands in Ohio and Kentucky.
