Write the price of the item on the coupon
A TM comes up to your register with a birthday coupon for $7.50, but their total is only $3.00. What would you do with the remainder of the coupon?
Enter the PLU listed on the birthday voucher, then enter only $3.00 for the total and make sure to WRITE on the coupon that only $3.00 was spent on the transaction.
When TM's come up with $7.50 Birthday voucher or $5.00 lunch on us coupon, but they don't spend the full amount. Do we give them the remainder amount of the coupon back to the TM?
No, the Tm must spend equal or more than the value indicated. If they spend less, then the lesser amount is the amount input into the computer with no change.
