Friction
A force that acts against the direction of an object's motion and causes it to slow or stop.
Velocity
The speed of an object in a particular direction.
Potential Energy
Stored energy, energy of position.
Kinetic Energy
Energy of movement or motion.
Mechanical Energy
total of potential and kinetic energy in an object
Surface
The top or outer face of an object. This has texture and gives friction when you travel across it.
