A. Bringing arm back down to side.
B. Bringing leg back down to standing.
Adduction

a. Turning the head from side to side.
b. Turning the palm of hand up and down.
Rotation
1. Moving a part so that its end follows a circular path.
A. Ex. Moving finger in a circle without
moving the hand.
Circumduction
1. Turning the palm of the hand upward.
Supination
1. Turning the palm of the hand downward.
Pronation
1. Turning the sole of the foot outward or laterally.
Eversion
1. Turning the sole of the foot inward.
Inverson
1. Moving a part forward.
a. Jutting the jaw forward.
Protraction
1. Moving a part backward.
A. Pulling the jaw back in.
Retraction
1. Raising a part.
A. Shrugging of the shoulders.
Elevation
1. Lowering a part.
A. Drooping the shoulders.
