In the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the Timeline, click the Titles Browser button.
How do you insert a title between two clips in the Timeline?
Drag a title from the Titles Browser to edit point between the clips. Alternatively, you can insert a title by positioning the playhead where you want to insert the title, selecting the title in the Browser, and clicking pressing W.

In the Titles Browser, double-click a title thumbnail. The title is connected over the clip at the playhead position in the primary storyline.

Choose View > Show Title/Action Safe Zones.
How do you adjust the color of a title?

Because generators are often used as backgrounds, double-clicking a generator clip inserts it into the primary storyline. This differs from a title, where double-clicking a title clip connects it to a primary clip.
Why would you use a Placeholder generator instead of a gap clip?
A gap clip can simply reserves a specific duration in the Timeline. A placeholder lets you enter information about the missing clip such as framing, how many people will be in the scene, the background, whether it is an interior shot, a night or day scene, and how many people will be in the scene. You can also add specific notes.
How do you assign an image to a drop zone in a theme?
In the Inspector, click a drop zone and then click the image in the Event Browser. In the "Select a Source Clip" window that appears, click Apply Clip.
