Incarnation: core Catholic teaching that the Son of God took on human flesh in the person of Jesus Christ
dogma: A central truth of Revelation that Catholics are obliged to believe.
Who were the Docetists? What follows from their false concept about Jesus?
Docetism was a heresy teaching Jesus only SEEMED to be a man, a ghostly figure appearing to instruct us about the divine. This concept is a danger because it basically says He never died or resurrected either, leaving no hope for our resurrection and our belief in Him, either.
