Cardiovascular system
the organs and tissues involved in circulating blood and lymph through the body
the fluid (red in vertebrates) that is pumped by the heart
a blood vessel that carries blood from the capillaries toward the heart
Respitory system
the lungss and a series of associated passageways such as the Pharynx (throat), Larynx (voice box), Trachea (windpipe), and Bronchial Tubes leading into and out of them.
a thin coagulable fluid (similar to plasma but) containing white blood cells (lymphocytes) and chyle

Lymphatic system
the interconnected system of spaces and vessels between body tissues and organs by which lymph circulates throughout the body

Organ located along a lymph vessel. Lymph nodes filter lymph and help attack viruses and bacteria.l

area at back of throat where mouth and nasal cavity meet
voice box
membranous tube with cartilaginous rings that conveys inhaled air from the larynx to the bronchi
two short branches located at the lower end of the trachea that carry air into the lungs.
tiny thin walled grapelike clusters at the end of each bronchiole that are surrounded by capillaries carbon dioxide and oxygen exchange takes place
