Administering the Beers Criteria
Medication assessment should be done at least every six months, and more often during an acute illness or exacerbation of a chronic illness.
Medications with high anticholinergic acitivity
Tricyclics and antihistamines.
Limitations include the cost of medications, medication
adherence, and under treatment.
Potentially inappropriate medication
