In the Hunger Games the capital controls all activities, same as this part does for the cell. The nucleus is the brain of the cell.
The fence keeps everyone inside of their districts, but some know how to leave. This part of the cell is very similar. It keeps materials in the cell. It is just inside the cell wall. Fire in the arena kept Katniss in the arena.
There is a woods beyond the fence and it surrounds it. This part does the same exact thing to the cell membrane
The cornucopia holds most things needed to survive the Hunger Games just like this part does. It is a "storage tank" in the cell. It holds food and proteins.
This part is similar to the woods inside of the arena. It gives you food and other things needed. It is in PLANT cells only!
The hovercrafts carry people where they need to go like this cell part does the same for other materials.
The mailroom of the cell. A messenger that transports proteins. Similar to gifts that the tributes receive that send helpful advice and food.
The lake separates Katniss from the careers. This part separates the cell membrane and the nucleus.
In the cell, it makes the proteins and are either attached to theEndoplasmic Reticulum or free floating. The free floating ribosomes are like the free floating nomadic tributes that the careers use to get them through and attack other tributes with.
This part gives the cell energy. Katniss sells her game to people in her district to get food for energy. Cato, a career for District 2, is strong and powerful/full of energy!
They digest worn out cell parts-The clean up crew- like the "tracker jackers"
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
The mockingjay sends messages between Katness and Rue! In the cell, the Rough ER packages proteins and sends them all over the cell.
Surrounds the nucleus and decides what goes in and out of the cell! The career tributes are like the nucelar membrane because they surround the cornucopia deciding who goes in and out of the cornucopia area.
