Local Area Network (LAN)
computer network that spans a relatively small area and most are confined to a single building or group of buildings
Wide Area Network (WAN)
computer network that spans over a large/larger area.
small pictures that represent programs, files or folders
a storage place for files you have deleted
these are used to change commands displayed on the ribbon
this appears when you choose an option on the ribbon tab allowing you to access features and commands
allows you to see different options such as open, save, print, etc.
this contains the file name and the name of the program; usually located at the top of the document
is a common connection point for devices in a network. They are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN.
