What does a flat horizontal line mean?
The object has stopped (distance does not change over time)
What does a negative gradient (downward-pointing slope) mean?
The object is returning to the start
When will a non-linear graph (line is not straight) be observed?
When an object is accelerating (speed is increasing) or decelerating (speed is decreasing)
