The directions a dancer travels in - forward, backward, up, down, left, right, diagonal, etc
The groups and positions that dancers stand in - straight line, V shape, windows, etc
The speed of the music.
A moment in a dance when the dancer pauses.
The direction in which a dancer is facing.
The connection of the dancer(s) to the space, each other, any sets/props/technology or the audience.
The tempo, accent, rhythm of timing of the music or movement.
Timing that is not coordinated with the tempo of the music but is rather free form, improvised or open to interpretation.
Timing that is based on the relationships between the dancers, for example unison, canon etc.
The shapes the body makes when moving, curved, angular etc.
