What kind of information is on a high school transcript?

What are the different types of rigorous courses?
honors course: A course that is taught in a more rigorous fashion than typical high school courses. Students learning may be assessed in a more comprehensive manner.
AP: An advanced high school course that covers college level material. Colleges may award AP credit for the course depending on scores received on the AP exam.
Dual Enrollment: An enrollment in an institution of higher learning while still in high school. Credits may be used toward a high school degree, college credit, or both.
IB: One of the rigorous, interdisciplinary group of courses that are accepted by colleges worldwide.
What is a service-learning activity?
Opportunities that allow students to give back to their communities. These opportunities always have learning objectives and are often tied to a class in which the students are enrolled.
What are five study tips?
1. Take notes using a graphic organizer.
2. Study the most difficult or important information first.
3. Designate a comfortable and quiet study area.
4. Avoid long study sessions.
5. Quiz yourself or have someone else quiz you.
What are five memory strategies?
Associate new information with something you already know.
Take the time to understand examples.
