the organized pattern of events that make up a story
occurs at the beginning of a story. characters are introduced, setting is learned, main conflict is introduced
the conflict begins to develop. a building of suspense or interest occurs.
the turning point of a story. usually the main character comes fact to face with a conflict. the main character will change in some way.
all loose ends of the plot are tied up. the conflict and climax are taken care of.

First Person Point of View

narrator is not a character but can tell you the thoughts and actions of ALL characters at all times

narrator is not a character in the story but can tell you the thoughts and actions of a FEW key characters at all times
