a group of ecosystems with similar climate and organisms
deciduous trees

a very dry biome that receives less than 25 cm of rain per year. It contains organisms that are adapted to extreme temperatures and little water.
taiga
boreal forest -coniferous forest - a cold biome that gets many feet of snow per year and contains coniferous trees
marine biome
Includes seas, oceans, and other bodies of salty water.
estuary
an area where fresh water from rivers mixes with salt water from the ocean
freshwater biome
Includes rivers, lakes, ponds, streams, and other bodies of nonsalty or fresh water.
