A government that recognizes God as the ultimate authority. Theocracy's can be a dictatorship, monarchy or a democracy. The leader is the head of the Church.
Citizens are involved in day to day government. Sometimes citizens are required to take part in this.
When citizens elect representatives to represent their rights. They help run everyday government. Citizens can get rid of representatives if they wish. The people vote on the executive leader too.
Where the leader comes to power by force and has absolute power over the citizens lives. The citizens have no say.
Absolute Monarchy's are run by one person who is born into power. The leader believes that they have divine right and God placed them into power. The divine right serves a crucial role in the government.
Follow a set of rules, but is still run by one person who was born into the role.
A small group of people who have all the power and lead the county. Sometimes it means that only a select group are involved in politics.
A government which only one person has power.
No one is in control.
Where a small group of people share all the power, but it usually runs like a dictatorship.
