Fordyce spots-expected variant. Ectopic sebaceous glands on buccal mucosa and lips as small, yellow-white raised lesions.

Aphthous ulcers-white, round, or oval ulcerative lesions with red halo.
Leukoplakia-thickened white patch that cannot be wiped away. premalignant lesion.
Palpate gums. Should be firm and tightly bound.
Epulis-localized ginginval enlargment or granuloma. Usually inflammatory rather than neoplastic.
Gingival enlargment-pregnancy, puberty, Vit C deficiency, certain meds, leukemia.
