The definition for entrepreneur is a person who owns or manages a business. As a cosmetologist you'll have to be a bit of an entrepreneur because your skills are considered your business, it is what builds your clientele. In order to keep your business booming you will need to learn the newest trends. Also salons will need managers and many of these managers need to have skills for aspects of the salon and have good business and communication skills.
What is the difference between being an esthetician and a nail technician?
Estheticians are cosmetologists who specialize in skin care. A nail tech primarily gives manicures and pedicures. While nails techs do not need to know as much about skin as estheticians, they do need to know some basics about the care of hands and feet.
