3rd, 6th and 7th are lowered from the Major scale.
7th is raised from the Natural Minor Scale.

6th and 7th are raised on the ascending (way up) the scale. Returns to Natural Minor, 6th and 7th are lowered on the descending (way down) the scale. (sounds Major at top of ascending scale)
