When fitting a bridle, the bit should be 1/4 inch wider than pony;s mouth with no rust or sharp spots. when the bridle is in the mouth it should make 2 wrinkles on the side of the mouth.Browband shouldn't pinch the ears. the cavesson should be snug but not tight. you should be able to fit one finger under any parts of the bridle.
