What happened to FDR in 1921 and what were the effects?
Franklin Roosevelt slipped off his boat into the cold waters of the North Atlantic. He woke up with a high fever and severe pains in his back and legs. A few weeks later he was diagnosed with polio which left him paralyzed from the waist down. He learned to create the illusion that he could walk.

Describe the results of the 1932 election.
The results of the 1932 election were Franklin D. Roosevelt won by a landslide against Herbert Hoover. FDR defeats Hoover by more than 7 million popular votes and wins 89% of electoral votes.
